Country Week

The Country Week Dance Program gives students from WA regional schools the opportunity to participate in a week of dance skill development with highly experienced dance artists. The program includes contemporary and choreography technique as well as cultural dance forms such as hip-hop, swing, African or lyrical.

In 2013 Country Week takes place from 1 to 5 July.

The week will culminate with the students working together to create a new dance, which they will perform to an adjudication panel and an audience of peers. The performance program will also feature a presentation by a youth dance ensemble.
